How to draw a single girl with 6 different hair styles
Now that we’re supposed to know how to draw some 12 different girl expressions, let’s give our model Lilly 6 different hair styles.
Girl hairstyling, as in real life, is pure fun. You can draw it big and fluffy as you’d like, pulled up or as long or short as you’d like, and it will be a great hairdo. Yep, girls hair is easy to draw.
Like when drawing men hair, Girls also have a hair part. it’s usually in the right side, but you can draw it however you want, of course. Since I usually draw my faces looking to the left, the hair part will usually be in the right side, simply because it’s easier to draw this way:

Let’s start with the basic curly long hair. What makes it basic is the face that there’s no limit with curly hair – it can be very short and close to the head, and when it’s huge – it becomes Afro:

- If you’re having troubles with the hair and face connection points, where the bangs should have been, you can always draw a ribbon to avoid making this part!

Another easy hairstyle is the really fluffy hairdo – it’s a cloud that landed on Lilly’s head:

Medium size wavy hair should usually have bangs, usually a bit pulled to the ears:

Drawing up dos is not as easy as it seems. Yes, it’s basically just a circle of hair behind the head or a simple pony tail, but don’t forget there should find and draw the exact line where the hair meets the face.

Don’t tempt to make it a straight line – it should be a bit round. Also, the ‘circle of hair’ should be just slightly hidden by the head itself:

Another medium style hair can be as such – hair ends in the mouth line:

Thanks that was a nice post to go through. I will be sure to read through the rest of your blog
