There’s something I’ve noticed not long ago: a guitar is a pile of circles and lines combined together to create music.
This is the final image:
Start by drawing 2 circles, the upper one should be slightly smaller than the lower one. These 2 circles are the base of the guitar body. Then, connect the 2 circles into one by drawing connecting lines by both sides of the shapes. When done, you can delete the inside line - they’re not needed anymore. Leave only the outline shape.
The guitar neck is basically a long rectangle. If you’re having troubles finding the right angle try imagining an invisible line between the middles of the circles. the neck of the guitar should be on this invisible lines.
After drawing the neck, give it volume by adding a parallel line a few millimeters from it. do the same for the neck top and the guitar body.
A classic guitar has 6 strings, and equivalent 6 knobs. My drawing isn’t exactly right, of course – the strings aren’t connected to the knobs, but it gives a basic shape of a guitar and the viewer can hardly notice this in a first glance.
For the final image I created a round shape from the top of the strings, and that’s it – guitar is ready :)
