After Max got 10 different expressions in a previous article, he will now have the pleasure of having 6 different hair styles.

Before we start, you’ve got to notice something really important about any hair, drawn or real: almost every hair style which is longer than a few millimeters has a hair part. Just look at the mirror, and you’ll notice it.

In most cases, the hair part is located in one of the two locations – the middle of the head or just right next to it.

My hair stylist once told me that men have left hair part, and women have a right one. Well, I think no one but my hair stylist care about that, so you can choose whichever hair part you’d like. I usually draw a right hair part for all my characters. I find it easier with better looking results.
