How to Draw Emoji : Step By Step Guide

First there was the generation of postcards when people used to write a postcard and then send it to another which took a lot of time to reach the other party. The message could be read by anyone as there was no envelope. Then came the letters where we wrote anything that we wished to convey and put them in an envelope so that it could remain private. This also took a lot of time. Then came the emails through which we could communicate immediately. The progress kept on going then started the use of emojis. Let’s get ready to draw emojis. I will teach you to draw 2 emojis which will help gain a basic idea, then you can draw any emoji.

Easy Way to Draw Emojis on paper

Emojis are small sticker kind of pictures which helps us to express our feelings in a more better manner than writing a letter. There are 1000s of emojis with each meaning differently. So it has now become very convenient to convey our feelings simply by sharing emojis among each other. Drawing Emojis is the easiest you only need to draw a circle that’s it. Method to Draw Emojis step by step for Beginners

Step 1 Draw a circle and the outlines which are simply the two diameters intersecting with each other.

Step 2 Draw two concentric circles for the left eye.

Step 3 Draw a banana shape for the right eye to show the wink and a long line below the eyes for the top of the mouth.

Step 4 Draw a V shape to form the bottom of the mouth.

Step 5 Join the top and bottom of the mouth with small arcs. Draw a closed U starting just below the top of the mouth to show the tongue as illustrated.

Step 6 Erase all the outlines.

Step 7 Now you need to color it according the emoji style i.e. yellow for the face, pink tongue and color the inner concentric circle of the eye completely black. That’s it you are ready to wink at anyone.

Step 1 Draw a circle and the outlines which are simply the two diameters intersecting with each other.

Step 2 Draw the letter D rotated 90⁰clockwise for the lens of the sunglasses. But remember the edges shouldn’t be sharp.

Step 3 Draw an outline for the frame of sunglasses below the eyes which is somewhat W in shape. Draw a circular line at the top to get the highlight line while coloring.

Step 4 Now complete the frame by following the outline of the lens as demonstrated in the figure.

Step 5 Draw a U shape within the lens to form a 3D effect and make a curved smiling mouth.

Step 6 Look below how I have colored the figure, then you can also follow the same colors to complete your emoji.

After learning these two emojis, now you will be able to draw any kind of emoji. All of them follow the same basic outline. So you just need to do the definition inside.
